SPC Challenge: Part of Me

Self Portrait Challenge Week 3 June - Nude

I was so inspired by the courageousness of SPC participants this past week and the artistry of so many of the pics, that I wanted to try one that was more painterly in composition. I took this one from a polaroid image transfer so that antiquated feel is actually inherent to the pic. I also changed the orientation of the picture and now I think I find that its challenging to figure out which way is up! In the end it was difficult to face the form - but there is peace in accepting that its all a part of me.

I like the quality of light, all warm and golden and yes, very painterly! Nice job!
