Blue Spanish Dancer II

newspcpic.JPG

I bought this doll when I was in Salamanca Spain, last September. I wanted to add another dancer to my living room mantel which is flocked by a few flamenco dancing dolls. I was in awe when I got home and realized she was the only BLUE flamenco doll I had or have ever seen! Most of all my dolls have red, black, pink or traditional peasant garb that is still in the red/black vein. In hindsight, I realize this was why when I was in the store, I gravitated to her specifically, as opposed to all the other rows of dolls in the store. I thought she (the doll)and I could share this weeks BLUE self-portrait challenge!

I just noticed that your nail polish matches the doll's dress! Fantastic :)

Seeing this reminded me that I have one of those dolls packed away, a gift from a trip my grandparents took... she's black, pink & yellow.
