Help Me Name that Doll!
Ok so I'm a little late with this post, but I just designed, and produced a whole artistically-altered clothing line called LITTLE RED WOLF (be sure to return this week to learn more about that!) and I am just finishing up filling a major west coast order for some bunny pencil cases! So I think I'm entitled.
NEVERTHELESS here is my soul-gutted girl without a name!
I'm currently working on her chest locket where her heart used to be and it will be getting a clockworks (the inside of an old watch) and her ripped out heart will now reside in a little birdcage that she will soon begin to carry around...her only saving grace is the bird that used to live in the cage where her heart now lives is finally free (perched high outside the cage.)
So now that you know all there is to know I'm taking suggestions and ideas for a clever name that invoke her soul-gutted state....Please leave a comment and help me name her!

Her back story reminds me in a sense of Ophelia from Hamlet. Maybe that as a name?
Stella!

Marble
I would name her Lilith, kind of makes sense the strength yet emptiness...love all of the details, precision and emotion.
Elaine...Its just a random thought, but the name reminds me of a kind of distant yet poised elegance that this doll has, that in my opinion the modern world today has looked past.
Evangelina
Ahh she came out so perfect!
maybe Alma because she is soul gutted and alma means souls en espanol?

She turned out simply amazing! Her eyes are wonderful, so poignant, so sad, perhaps a little lonely. My hats off to you on this wonderful soul you have created. I hope you enjoyed your time in Mexico, we missed you in class? I still have not finished my rabbit, I hope I get some time during Christmas, hah! Work has just been crazy mad and putting in long hours and a longer commute. It was such a pleasure to get to sit next to you and Manon in Lillian's class. I had so much fun. Lillian is just awesome and Latina too boot!
Anyway, enjoy your Christmas, say hello to Manon for me.

P.S. How about Corzon for her name?
What a unique and beautiful doll even though it is scary. Scary because it is not a typical doll that children wants. I suggests to name the doll Adrienne. Adrienne comes from a lyrics of a song i knew before.
Lillianna Marie~
Comes from a character in a book a friend is writing based off Lillith. Deathly strong, beautiful, elegant, soulless and heartless.
Couldn't help but butt in~
I think her name is Clotilde. Think of the time the novel Bel Ami.
Dolores del Alma......
Marchita
Alma partida

I don't know, something about her feels like a "Rae" to me. She's amazing, and I can't wait to see your clothing line!

She's truly frightening.
Dolls have always freaked me out...
But you did a great job.
I like the texture of the paint.
