Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11:29AM While over visiting Redstarink's blog and having some Easter Morn mimosa's with her yesterday, I was introduced to 21stcentury Hipstamatic images.
The Hipstamatic camera is a plastic toy camera produced during 1982-1984 by Bruce and Winston Dorbowski,two brothers that remind me of the clever entrepreneuring bros Fred and George Weasley of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes.
Well leave it to Iphone application designers to come up with an app that for me takes the cake on the best app totally worth the $1.99! The app comes with different lenses, film and even flashes like one called lemon pop!
The app website is wonderful too and they even host a monthly contest show in which you can win a $100 Itunes gift card! I think I want to enter but I might need your help on choosing which images fit the theme the best.
But for now here are my first test runs with my new Hipstamatic camera on the Iphone and glimpses of my Easter Sunday!

rina: Ha! That's so cool! I can't belive you can take such nice pics like those on the i phone! There is truly an app for everything lol! I love the pic of Chica, she looks so deep in thought, anyway the one that i think fits the theme most is the last one, it looks so old fashioned and just looks perfect with it!

I love the blue effect.....My fav is the last one. Chica looks so adorable.
Aww I wish I have an iPhone. I like all of them but my favourite is a close call between the first and last one!

I have this app!! I've taken some pics of the kiddies and my sunglasses collection. I'm actually working on a blog post on the sunglasses collection and may use some of the images I took with this app.
i unfortunately do not have an iPhone let alone any cell these days. LOOOVVVEEE the look of what this app can do. my fave shots are that of chica and the backyard. checked out the current contest that ends on 4/19 and (in my opinion) based on these shots my two faves would be one to choose from. but something tells me you may be taking more shots since the effects it gives are sooooo beautiful!!! looking forward to seeing what comes next. ;D
OMG, you have blowfish shoes?! !!!!!!!!!!Wow, they have been on my wishlist forever. Especially the booties and the ones you took that picture of. How cool! Do you by any chance remember where you can buy them? I don't go to the US that often anymore, but if I ever get another chance I'll hunt them down :P
